Ever feel like you’re self-sabotaging your own success sometimes?

Like you know exactly what you have to do to achieve your goal but you’re just not doing it? Or you keep making excuses about it?

Maybe it’s that you want to lose weight. You eat great for a couple of days, but then another part of you just wants to eat junk food and so you eventually give in.

Or if you’re a business owner, maybe it’s reaching out to clients, making those sales calls, or showing up on Instagram. You know you had success the last time you did it and doing more of it would grow your business. But another part of you is telling you to take it easy tonight and watch Netflix instead.

It doesn’t matter what the example is, I think we’ve all been there before, where a part of us wants something so bad, but another part is stuck in behaviours that are sabotaging our success.

The reason for this is usually some unconscious belief that you have that keeps stopping you.

Subconscious Beliefs Holding You Back 

And this is NOT because your subconscious mind is evil. Actually, your subconscious intentions are always positive, they MAY just be translated to you through negative behaviours.

So for example let’s say you want to feel confident in yourself so that you can go out and do all the things you want, get that new job, workout more so you can feel better about yourself and your subconscious hears this, wants to get on board, and thinks OK so you want to feel confident, well when do we currently feel confident?

When we’re in our current routines, our current job we always had, our current diet we always had, spending a day at home on the couch, basically anywhere we’re in our comfort zones, this is when we feel good so let’s do more of this.

So positive intention; feeling more confident, translated into a negative behaviour; staying in our comfort zones where we currently feel confident and content.

And we can’t get over these conflicting feelings by ignoring or forcing the negative behaviours to go away.

They will always creep back up, what it really takes is getting to the route of your subconscious mind’s beliefs, learning how to deal with these emotions, rather than avoid or try to consciously control them.

And this is exactly what hypnosis helps you with….a lot of people think it’s mind control, but it’s actually learning how to take control of your mind.
